Words are So Powerful!

The older that I am, the more that I realize how powerful words can be! What you say and how you say the same sentence can be very influential, sometimes, they can be very harmful as a listener. In the past week, my mood has been fluctuating lots. It went from happy to depressed within a split second easily every single time when I thought about this issue that occurred lately. Sometimes, I just want to travel back in time and wish none of these has occurred. This is a total stereotype but I have observed that girls are generally more talkative and are usually the ones who create the drama (aka gossip girls) but guess what, guys can totally do the same as well, which I am really shocked to see. A lesson that I have learnt is that you can never judge a person based on its cover. You may think: No duh, obviously, but let me tell you, as simple as this sounds, it is definitely hard to process! A person may seem nice and all but you can never underestimate what they are capable of doing. Some people are so fake that they may act super nice around you but once you leave, they have a different personality as if they have two sides in them. I just do not understand these people. Seriously, if you have the gut to create those dramas, you should have the gut to tell/face this victim directly! I guess if this is the way that they decide to deal with things, the chances are that they probably do not have that many real friends considering they have been so fake for their entire life.

While I was driving down the road yesterday, my vehicle got rear-ended. I got out of the car and exchanged info with this lady. Her apology was "I am so sorry. My heel slipped." I was actually not impressed with this excuse but on the other hand, I totally understand how it is to drive around with heels. It is definitely  not easy. Walking in them is difficult enough, imagine if you have to drive around with them. Fortunately, she did not do much visible damages to the vehicle so I let it slide.

  1. Well, at least she was good enough to get out and give her information without being a bitch. There are people who don't do that.

    1. true. If she decided not to, it would definitely be at her fault for hit and run. It'd be the law that she has to deal with. She probably figured it's best to get it over with then to cause some extra trouble.

  2. The second you meet someone we try to categorize them and put them in a section in our mind and it can be very difficult to process that perhaps the category you have placed the person in is not a good representation of who they are.

    1. I definitely have misread that person like you said. He has two sides in him, which scares me. He acts to be the nicest person in front of me but he is not even close...

  3. That's good that there wasn't much damage! Heel slipped... sounds silly, but I've heard worse excuses.
